APS has released its Kindergarten Information Video. This prerecorded video will cover a variety of topics from how to register to neighborhood elementary schools to applying to option schools.

Online Pre-Registration
Please make sure when you are using the online registration system, that you are selecting 25-26 School Year. You may have to scroll down to see it. If you select the wrong year, we will have to delete the application and you will have to start over. Do you have a child who is a rising kindergartener in the 2025-2026 class at Jamestown Elementary School this fall?
SOL Testing Dates
Students in grades 3 - 5 will be taking the Virginia Standards of Learning tests throughout May. We hope that any appointments and/or trips can be scheduled around our testing dates. Thank you.
