Congratulations Mr. DJ & Ms. Kauffunger
Each year, the staff nominate a teacher and support employee to represent Jamestown as Teacher and Support Employee of the year. This year, we are honored to recognize Nancy Kauffunger, reading teacher, as our Teacher of the Year. Ms. Kauffunger is an instructional leader within our school who is a master at teaching children how to read and is detail oriented when looking at data to create appropriate supports for students. DJ Corprew, one of our office assistants, affectionately known as Mr. DJ, is our Support Employee of the Year. He is known for his calm, welcoming presence in the office, his ability to do just about anything we need done, and his positive can do attitude! Congratulations to Ms. Kauffunger and Mr. DJ!
This season, the Jamestown community is coming together to support families at Randolph and across Arlington.
At its meeting on November 13, the School Board approved a change to the 2025-26 school calendar that allows additional time for elementary and middle school parent–teacher conferences in the spring.
