Bullying Prevention

Jamestown has an active bullying prevention program!  We use the Second Step Curriculum in Kindergarten through 5th grade to teach our students the skills of recognizing, refusing, and reporting bullying. We teach students that bystanders can help to report and refuse bullying and we teach prosocial skills to encourage kindness and community. The school counselors are available to work with students individually or in groups to help empower our students and prevent bullying.
