On Thursday, March 5th, Jamestown will welcome author Carole Boston Weatherford and illustrator Jeffery Weatherford. Ms. Weatherford is the award-winning author of over 80 books. We are so pleased that many of them connect to what we are learning in the classroom: from poetry to biographies. Ms. Weatherford is visiting five schools, and the READ organization has graciously taken on the task of managing book orders for those families who would like to order her books in advance.
