Raptor Safe App
Hello Jamestown Families,
To make check-in easier, please ensure that you have set up your RaptorSafe app before visiting the school, if you haven’t already, to verify your identity. This makes the check-in process smoother and quicker.
Steps to get started:
Download the RaptorSafe app:

• Google Play – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.raptortech.safe&hl=en_US
Follow the prompts to verify your identity within the app. Once set up, you’ll be able to check in quickly and easily during future visits, as the app will generate your “passport” (unique QR code) for check-in to scan. I have attached instructions for your convenience. Thank you for supporting our school’s safety procedures!

Order Next Year School Supplies
Get a head start on the 2026-2027 school year by ordering your school supplies! Each year, the Jamestown PTA coordinates the ordering of school supplies for the next school year. These kits contain exactly what the teachers have requested to assist the students in learning.
MAP & SOL Testing Schedule
Students in grades 1–5 will participate in MAP Testing from April 20–29. Students in grades 3–5 will then take the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) assessments throughout the month of May. We hope that any appointments and/or trips can be scheduled around our testing dates. Thank you.
School Board Approves April 21 Change to 2025-26 School Year Calendar
At its meeting on March 26, the School Board approved a change to designate April 21 as a no-school day for students, due to a special election. Staff will participate in countywide professional learning.
